Forensic Files 3

TV Show: Forensic Files
s1e3: The House That Roared
*Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County
*Date: July 1st, 1992
What happened: Caren Campano and third husband Christopher Campano had a big blow up in result to Caren leaving their residents according to Christopher. Once Caren didn’t show up to work, he then called the police reporting his wife as missing. The police arrived to the Campano’s residents finding out that they had reported robbed the day before. Chris told the police that he and his wife had left the house after a big fight. But only half of that was the truth. Police used a chemical called Luminol that reveals traces of blood at a crime scene. Luminol shown that the house was covered in blood that at first glance you couldn’t tell that was Caren. Blood was smeared on the walls and splattered on the ceiling meaning that she was hit with a blunt object. The next order of business was where was the body of Caren Campano? After finding the body of Caren months later, her 3rd husband Christopher Campano was sentenced to 1,000 years for manslaughter.
*What evidence was collected: later after finding Caren’s body, her teeth, bones and a check made out her for $83.34 from her family back in New York.
*What did the evidence show (testing results):
The evidence shows that Caren was hit in the head with a blunt object, and lost a lot of blood for a woman her size meaning that no one could survive the injury. Also from the decaying of the body suggest that she had been dead for a long time.
*What was the conclusion of the case?: Christopher Campano murdered his wife Caren, hitting her in the head with a blunt objects then leaving her there until the neighbors went to sleep, in that time he went to a nearby bar grabbing a few drinks, then coming back to the residents, wrapping his wife’s body in a blanket carrying her through the house, stopping in the kitchen where he reached the back door dragging her body out onto the side where he must have loaded her body into the car driving her a far out distance. Chris admitted to killing his wife stating that he was sorry for what he did to her, but that he could not bring her back.

  1. "Residents" are the people who reside in a home. The home itself is referred to as their "residence". It may seem picky but, check your spelling and grammar if you wish that your postings appear more professional.
