s1e1: The disappearance of Helle Crafts
*Location: Newtown, Connecticut
*Date: November 19, 1986
*What happened: Helle Crafts suspected that her husband Richard Crafts was having an affair, so she hired a provide investigator confirming her theory. The night of November 19th, a friend of hers dropped her off at the residents of her and Richard’s home, where she was brutally murdered by her husband. It was reported that once she put the kids to bed (her and Richard shared 3 small children) she then went into the bedroom changing into her favorite blue nightgown. While changing the sheets her and Richard engaged into a heated conversation, leaving Richard to hit his wife over the head with a blunt sharp object. Mrs.Craft fell to the floor brushing her wounded head on the side of the mattress. Richard Crafts then wrapped his wife’s body into the comforter that once laid on their bed and then proceeded to place her dead body into the deep freezer that was located in the garage. He then tried to clean up the blood stain with some towels (that was then cleaned) and retrieved to bed. Late on the house nanny came home and went to bed not suspecting a thing. The next morning Richard woke the kids and nanny taking them over to his sister’s house then rented a wood chipper and grinned Helle’s frozen body up along with wood chucks.
