TV Show: Forensic Files
s1e3: The House That Roared
*Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County
*Date: July 1st, 1992
What happened: Caren Campano and third husband Christopher Campano had a big blow up in result to Caren leaving their residents according to Christopher. Once Caren didn’t show up to work, he then called the police reporting his wife as missing. The police arrived to the Campano’s residents finding out that they had reported robbed the day before. Chris told the police that he and his wife had left the house after a big fight. But only half of that was the truth. Police used a chemical called Luminol that reveals traces of blood at a crime scene. Luminol shown that the house was covered in blood that at first glance you couldn’t tell that was Caren. Blood was smeared on the walls and splattered on the ceiling meaning that she was hit with a blunt object. The next order of business was where was the body of Caren Campano? After finding the body of Caren months later, her 3rd husband Christopher Campano was sentenced to 1,000 years for manslaughter.  
*What evidence was collected: later after finding Caren’s body, her teeth, bones and a check made out her for $83.34 from her family back in New York.
*What did the evidence show (testing results):
The evidence shows that Caren was hit in the head with a blunt object, and lost a lot of blood for a woman her size meaning that no one could survive the injury. Also from the decaying of the body suggest that she had been dead for a long time.  
*What was the conclusion of the case?: Christopher Campano murdered his wife Caren, hitting her in the head with a blunt objects then leaving her there until the neighbors went to sleep, in that time he went to a nearby bar grabbing a few drinks, then coming back to the residents, wrapping his wife’s body in a blanket carrying her through the house, stopping in the kitchen where he reached the back door dragging her body out onto the side where he must have loaded her body into the car driving her a far out distance. Chris admitted to killing his wife stating that he was sorry for what he did to her, but that he could not bring her back.

s1e2: The Magic Bullet  
Location: Dallas County, Texas at Dallas Pistol & Revolver shooting range
Date: September 29th, 1991
What happened: Butch and Trey Cooley woke up early on September 29th to head down to Dallas pistol & revolver shooting range to judge a shooting competition, when 15 year old Trey Cooley was shot in the head from a mysterious bullet that no one seem to know where it was fired from.  
*What evidence was collected: The mysterious personalized bullet
*What did the evidence show (testing results): The evidence showed that the death of Trey was an accident. The shot was fired by range-goer Dan Smith behind the shooting range, thick plasters of wood  were meant to block any stray bullets, but due to safety out of date hazards the bullet went past 2 blocks of wood, through the back of the range, through a storage unit, skirted the roof of the building redirecting the bullet right into Trey’s head while sitting by the door of Dallas Pistol & Revolver.
*What was the conclusion of the case?:Due to out of date safety codes Trey’s death was an accident.

s1e1: The disappearance of Helle Crafts
*Location: Newtown, Connecticut
*Date: November 19, 1986
*What happened: Helle Crafts suspected that her husband Richard Crafts was having an affair, so she hired a provide investigator confirming her theory. The night of November 19th, a friend of hers dropped her off at the residents of her and Richard’s home, where she was brutally murdered by her husband. It was reported that once she put the kids to bed (her and Richard shared 3 small children) she then went into the bedroom changing into her favorite blue nightgown. While changing the sheets her and Richard engaged into a heated conversation, leaving Richard to hit his wife over the head with a blunt sharp object. Mrs.Craft fell to the floor brushing her wounded head on the side of the mattress. Richard Crafts then wrapped his wife’s body into the comforter that once laid on their bed and then proceeded to place her dead body into the deep freezer that was located in the garage. He then tried to clean up the blood stain with some towels (that was then cleaned) and retrieved to bed. Late on the house nanny came home and went to bed not suspecting a thing. The next morning Richard woke the kids and nanny taking them over to his sister’s house then rented a wood chipper and grinned Helle’s frozen body up along with wood chucks.
*What evidence was collected:

  5. A painted red nail
  6. A grey piece of metal
  7. Tiny bone fragments
  8. Pieces of a chain saw  
*What did the evidence show (testing results): 
Evidence show that Richard Crafts murdered his wife Helle Crafts, striking her over the head with a blunt object the disposing of her body in a wood chipper.
*What was the conclusion of the case?:
Richard Crafts was sentenced to 50 years for the murder of his wife, it was the first murder conviction in Connecticut without a body.
